Jakub Sowa (-1594) is a Polish composer. He is theorized to be the scribe of the Warsaw Musical Society Tablature.

Description

Sowa was the organist of the court of King Sigismund III and a member of the chapel under Asprilio Pacelli in 1590. In 1594, he was murdered by a cook for unknown reasons while he was accompanying the King on a trip to Sweden.
