A modern reconstruction of the Apfelregal

The Apfelregal (en: Apple regal) is a regal organ in which the resonators have a round top.


Apfelregals in modern times are based on an example found in a Hans Weiditz woodcut from 1518; this organ was built in 1506 for court organist Paul Hofhaimer[1].
