The manuscript was written by [[Johann Gottfried Walther]] around roughly 1700-1750.
After being written by Walther, it was owned by [[Johann Ludwig Krebs]], J. C. Barthel, C. A. Reichardt, and finally [[Ferdinand August Roitzsch]]. After Roitzsch's death in 1889, the manuscript was acquired by the Berlin library (according to the accession number)<ref name="beckmann Reincken"></ref>.

Description

The manuscript was written by Johann Gottfried Walther around roughly 1700-1750.

After being written by Walther, it was owned by Johann Ludwig Krebs, J. C. Barthel, C. A. Reichardt, and finally Ferdinand August Roitzsch. After Roitzsch's death in 1889, the manuscript was acquired by the Berlin library (according to the accession number)[1].

Works

Among others, notable works transmitted by this manuscript include the Chorale Fantasy Nun freut euch lieben Christen gmein by Dietrich Buxtehude, one of the chorale fantasies by Jan Adam Reincken (Was kann uns kommen an fur noth), and the only known copy of Nun komm der Heiden Heiland by Nicolaus Bruhns without ornaments added by Agricola.
