Peter Morhard (or Morhardt, or Morhart, -1685) was a German organist and composer. He was the organist at the Michaeliskirche, Lüneburg. All of his surviving works are found in D-Lr Mus.ant.pract. K.N. 209.
Life
Few details of Morhard's life are known. He was likely born around 1630-1642. Some other organists such as Heinrich Scheidemann or Delphin Strunck have been theorized to be Morhard's teachers.
